Fakeye Art Opening and Wamidan Presentation

Internationally acclaimed woodcarver Lamidi Fakeye greets members of the College's Wamidan world music ensemble as they prepare to play for the opening of Fakeye's exhibit in the Fine Arts Center. A highlight of the opening—the donation of a set of slit drums made by the Ibibio people of Nigeria and given to Wamidan by Fred Morton, African historian and father-in-law of the College's art historian, Assistant Professor of Art Elizabeth Morton.
