Walter and I found it difficult to get to Biloxi on US 90 due to the damage to this bridge during Hurricane Katrina.

Before Katrina hit, local officials raised the bridge allowing ships to pass and get out of harm's way.

On March 6, Walter and I hosted a dinner in Pascagoula for some prospective students and their parents.  Current Wabash men Andrew Brimm '09 (on left), Leander Jones '09 (striped shirt), Nikeland Cooper '06 (green shirt) joined the group for dinner.

We hosted a reception at Piney Woods Country Life School on Wednesday.  We had a quite a spread.

George Taybos '66 met with students interested in medicine.  George is a member of the medical school faculty at the University of Mississippi located in Jackson, MS.

THIS IS NOT A DRILL! Several tornadoes touched down in the Oxford area while I made a visit to the local high school.  Walter stayed in the car.

Our last stop in Memphis was a dinner at Boscos Squared.  Walter and I were joined by Trey Chinn '06 and three families from Memphis.

We found time to stop by what I believe is the best BBQ joint in Memphis.  Corkys' is fine, Rendezvous is good, but Interstate's the best.  Be sure to order a side of baked beans.
