CTCL May Tour

The Pope-Leighy House at Woodlawn just outside of Alexandria, VA. Friends from CTCL members schools joined members of Loren's family for a memorial service on Sunday evening. Loren passed away in September of this year. In 1941, Loren Pope penned a letter to Frank Lloyd Wright asking if he would build a house for him.

The kitchen. Very small by today's standards. One of our guides mentioned that this kitchen has the same dimensions of the kitchens found in Pullman railroad cars. This sparked further conversation for the guide and myself as I know a bit about Pullman having studied him in C&T. You never know when that stuff will come in handy.
