Little Giants Picked Third in NCAC Football Preseason Poll

The Wabash football team was picked to finish third in the North Coast Athletic Conference in the both media and coaches polls. The results of the two polls were announced at the annual NCAC Football Media Day, held August 2 at Delaware, Ohio.

Wabash received 83 points in the coaches poll, including one third-place vote. The Little Giants received two of the 28 first-place votes in the media balloting, earning a total of 214 points.

Wabash finished third in the conference in 2000 with a 5-2 record. Defending conference champion Wittenberg was picked to win the conference title in the preseason rankings.
