Five Wabash College alumni were included on the 2026 Indiana 250, a list of the most influential business leaders throughout the state.
Compiled by IBJ Media, the Indiana 250 identifies business leaders statewide in 10 categories: civic leadership; energy and agriculture; financial and business services; hospitality, arts, and entertainment; law; life sciences and health care; manufacturing, logistics, and transportation; nonprofit and education; real estate, retail, and construction; and technology and media.
Included in the fifth-annual Indiana 250 compilation were alumni Aman Brar ’99, Brian Burdick ’91, Chris Cotterill ’99, Mark Miles ’76, Clay Robbins ’79, and Ryan Vaughn ’00.
Aman Brar ’99: Founder of Ground Game Ventures, a venture capital fund focused on opportunities in AI and machine learning, and principal at Unnautural, LLC. He is a member of multiple boards, including the Wabash College Board of Trustees.
Brian Burdick ’91: Managing partner of Barnes & Thornburg’s Indianapolis office and a member of the firm’s Management Committee. His expertise is in government services and public finance law.
Chris Cotterill ’99: President of Goelzer Investment Management. Prior to his current position, he served as chief operating officer of the Indiana Economic Development Corporation and chief of staff to Indianapolis Mayor Gregory A. Ballard.
Mark Miles ’76: President and chief executive officer of Penske Entertainment Corp. and oversees the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, IndyCar racing, and Indianapolis Motor Speedway Productions.
Clay Robbins ’79: Chairman and chief executive officer of Lilly Endowment Inc.

“The professionalism, persistence, and passion Wabash men exhibit in their individual careers continues to set them apart from the competition,” said Steven Jones, dean for professional development. “Each of our Indiana 250 honorees has demonstrated the value and return on investment of a liberal arts education. We are extremely proud of their continued success and the inspiration they provide for our current students, which often compels them to make the most of their experience on campus.”
Indiana residents made nominations and final selections were made by editors and staff of IBJ Media’s three news brands, the Indianapolis Business Journal, Inside INdiana Business, and Indiana Lawyer.
The essential factor is simple: men and women who live in Indiana and are making a difference locally, regionally, or statewide in business, philanthropy, or community – or all three. In that spirit, it’s not surprising to see Wabash men featured on the Indiana 250, as the College mission is to educate men to think critically, act responsibly, lead effectively, and live humanely.
