Conor Angell Opens Music Department Performance Season

Conor AngellThe Wabash College Music Department opens the 2018-19 season with Conor Angell in a guest voice recital at 7:30 p.m., Friday, Sept. 7 in Salter Concert Hall in the Fine Arts Center.

A native of Ireland, Angell is a bass-baritone, and a member of the faculty at Taylor University. He previously taught voice as an adjunct instructor at Wabash College. Angell is an active performer and has won numerous awards and competitions for his musicianship. He will be accompanied by Clifton Davis on piano. 

Angell’s program includes a set by British composer Benjamin Britten, as well as a large selection of musical theater works, including songs from Kiss Me, KateCompany; Avenue Q; and The Most Happy Fella. A reception will follow the recital in Littell Lobby. 

This is a family friendly event, and is free and open to the public. The venue is wheelchair accessible.
