FIRE President Lukianoff to Lecture

The Wabash Commentary will present Greg Lukianoff, president of the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education (FIRE) for a lecture entitled "Liberty in Peril: Academic Freedom on our Nation's College Campuses." Mr. Lukianoff's lecture will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 29 in Baxter Hall's Lovell Lecture Room.

Mr. Lukianoff  is a graduate of American University and of Stanford Law School. He has published articles in The Stanford Technology Law Review, The Chronicle of Higher Education, Fraternal Law, Inside Higher Ed, The Boston Globe, the New York Post, and numerous other publications. He has testified before the U.S. Senate about free speech issues on America’s college campuses.

The mission of FIRE is to defend and sustain individual rights at America's colleges and universities. FIRE steps in when freedom is squelched on campus, pursuing legal action when necessary.

The lecture is free and open to the public. Questions and a reception will follow the lecture.
