The Department of Modern Languages at Wabash College invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor or Instructor of Spanish, to begin July 1, 2020. Ph.D. preferred, ABD considered. Specialization is open, but expertise in Latin American or Spanish literatures and cultures is required. The successful candidate will teach language, culture, and literature courses. Other requirements include native / near-native fluency in Spanish and English, a commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching, an appreciation for the broad intellectual community of an excellent liberal arts college, and the ability to work with a diverse student body. The teaching load is three courses per semester. Competitive salary and support for faculty development.
