| Description: | In this course, students will develop a retrospective exhibition celebrating the life and work of Gregory Huebner, Professor of Art Emeritus of Wabash College, where he taught for 37 years Professor Huebner has showcased his talent through 32 solo exhibits and has been featured in 85 group and juried exhibitions, earning him numerous awards for his exceptional paintings. His work is also represented in 33 public collections and over 90 private collections. During the course, students will have the unique privilege of interacting directly with Professor Huebner, as they visit his studio at Virtusa Corporation Indianapolis, where he currently serves as the artist-in-residence. Students will engage in research, interpretation, and exhibition design, guided by American Alliance of Museums standards. They will also create an exhibition catalog. |
