After the Bell: Sports Betting at Home, on Campus, and in the Classroom
Sports betting seems to be inseparable from sports these days, with revenues growing from approximately $1 billion in 2019 to $11 billion in 2023. By contrast, the NFL’s total revenue in 2023 was $13 billion. Interestingly, sports betting looks quite a bit different than it did before 2013. In this session, we will talk about how we got here, how we’re seeing it play out on college campuses, and opportunities we have in the classroom.
