Monster.com, a website devoted to supplying information about the employment industry, is holding the Diversity Leadership Program (DLP). This may be the perfect opportunity for you to get an edge up on the competitive entry-level job market. The weekend conferences, which are FREE to accepted students, will be hosted during July and August in 10 cities nationwide including:

  • July 4-6, University of South Florida (Tampa)
  • July 7-9, San Francisco State University (SF)
  • July 14-16, Wayne State University (Detroit)
  • July 21-23, University of Texas at Arlington (Dallas)
  • July 21-23, Saint Xavier University (Chicago)
  • July 28-30, Georgia Tech (Atlanta)
  • July 28-30, Villanova University (Philadelphia)
  • August 4-6, Towson University (Baltimore)
  • August 11-13, St. Johns University (New York)
  • August 11-13, Chapman University (Los Angeles)
  • Each summer program presents a unique chance for rising college sophomores, juniors, and seniors of diverse bachground to spend a high energy weekend learning career skills and interacting with the nation’s top companies including PricewaterhouseCoopers, Lockheed Matrin, Target, Hewlett Packard, Cardinal Health, and Accenture. Because of the exceptional nature of this opportunity Monster.com received over 23,000 applications in 2005, while they only accept the top 1800 students. This year, Monster.com would like more Wabash Students among this elite group of leaders.

    Students who attend a DLP will enjoy the following benefits:
