Jake German ”11—26 hours of traveling using 3 planes over 3 continents, we finally arrived at Nairobi International Airport.

We were exhausted, both physically from the lack of consistent sleep, and emotionally from the stress of international travel. Then through the double-paned glass doors outside of baggage claim and security arose two wonderful beacons of hope: a sign reading “Wabash University—Welcome to Kenya," and our beloved Dr. Cook, surrounded by 25 Kenyan students and adults all waiting on Saturday night to welcome us to their country."
