Scott Crawford, Director of Career Services, has worked in the Career Services field for 16 years, at a variety of colleges and universities. He started his career at Valdosta State University (GA), then worked at Wichita State University (KS), Adrian College (MI), George Washington University (DC) and Johns Hopkins University (MD) before coming to Wabash College in 2005. Scott is a graduate of the University of Arkansas with a BSBA in Human Resources Management and a M.Ed in Higher Education Administration. Scott enjoys landscaping, fixing up his old house (built in 1859) and entertaining his three dogs. crawfors@wabash.edu

Betsy Knott, Assistant Director of Career Services, after traveling across the United States, has decided to return to her Indiana roots to work at Wabash. Her brother and father are alumni, and growing up, she remembers the countless stories about Wabash. She enjoys working in Career Services because of the close connection it fosters with students and alumni. Betsy has worked at the university level for the past seven years in different capacities, after receiving her MS in Management from the University of Denver and BS in Accounting from the University of Evansville. Betsy continues to play competitive volleyball, travel, write haikus, and spend time with her dog Nellie. knottb@wabash.edu

Angie Cook-Smith, Business Immersion Leadership Coordinator, is a graduate from Purdue University. After college she moved to Indianapolis to work for Enterprise Rent-A-Car and most recently worked in Career Services for Indiana Business College. Jill Rogers, Pre Health Advisor, has lived in Crawfordsville for over 11 years and worked in Career Services for 5 years. Before working at Wabash, she practiced genetic counseling for 7 years. Additionally, she was an instructor at the University of Missouri, Kansas City Medical School. Jill is originally from the Denver area and she received her training at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Her husband, Dan, is a Spanish professor at Wabash and they have two wonderful children, Trey and Elena. rogersji@wabash.edu

Clifford G. Kocian III '11, Peer Advisor, is a junior at Wabash this year. He was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, where he is a graduate of Hawken School. During the summers he attended Culver Military Academy’s summer program, where he graduated as the Regimental Commander. At Culver, Clifford especially enjoys being a varsity football coach. This year, Clifford will be the incoming Freshman advisor. He hopes to get the Freshmen active and enthusiastic about all that the Career Services office and Wabash have to offer. At Wabash, Clifford is a brother in the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity, and a member of the Lacrosse team. He is a hometown fan, supporting the Indians, Browns, and Cavs, while also being a die-hard Ohio State fan. He also enjoys reading and hanging out with friends.

Filip Lempa '11, Peer Advisor, is aninternational student from Poland. Filip is a Political Science major and a German minor who is also completing the business sequence. This is his second year as a Career Peer Advisor. On the campus, he’s the founder and president of the Case Study Club and manages student life at College Hall as a Resident Assistant. Upon graduation, Filip plans to work in management consulting. During his time at Wabash, he was able to obtain significant work experience outside of the college. Over the past summer Filip completed an internship with the PZU Group, the largest insurance and finance group in Central and Eastern Europe. In the summer following his freshman year, he interned with the consulate of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland and a boutique consulting company specializing in helping foreign investors. Filip will spend the spring and summer of 2010 studying abroad and interning in China.

Stephen Popovich '10, Peer Advisor, was born and raised in Hebron, Indiana. He is currently a senior at Wabash College, pursuing a degree in Economics with a minor in Rhetoric and the Business Sequence area of concentration. He is a member of Delta Tau Delta fraternity and the Wabash Sphinx Club. Stephen is also Vice President of College Mentors for Kids and plays rugby. This past summer, he interned as a small business consultant with Adorant Group in Chicago, IL. In his leisure time, Stephen enjoys playing guitar, working out, and having conversations with friends. After Wabash, he hopes to pursue either a Masters of Business Administration or J.D., but plans to work first. ___________________________________________________________

Lijie “Jackson” Ding '11, Peer Advisor, is an international student from Shanghai, a large city at the east coast of China. A junior at Wabash College , he is majoring in Economics and Mathematics. Jackson is a new member of the Career Services staff. He hopes to bring passion, energy and new ideas to the office. On campus, he lives at Beta Theta Pi. He is the president of Asian Student Society, a member of Business Society and International Student Association. He also plays rugby. He loves basketball and is a big fan of Yao Ming. In his free time, he likes to lift weights and make Chinese food.

Ryan W. Stephens '10, Peer Advisor, was born and raised in New Castle, Indiana and is a senior pursuing a major in Mathematics, minor in Economics, and a concentration in Business at Wabash College. A member of Phi Delta Theta, Ryan is the rush chairman, website manager, IFC representative, and intramural chairman for his fraternity. As a sports fanatic, Ryan enjoys watching and playing basketball, football, and baseball. His favorite sports teams are the Lakers, 49ers, Red Sox, and the Michigan Wolverines.

Joe Johnson '11, Peer Advisor, was born in Crown Point, Indiana, and is currently a junior pursuing a degree in Economics, minor in Rhetoric, and the Business Sequence area of concentration. A member of the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity, Joe is the Intramural Chairman and co-Social Chairman for his house and also plays Varsity Baseball for the college. In addition to working in the Career Services office, Joe is also a member of the Wabash Christian Men, AMPED, Spanish Club and Case Study Club. He is also an avid baseball fan, rooting specifically for the Chicago Cubs. In his free time, Joe enjoys playing baseball, basketball, working out, golfing, and snowboarding. After college, Joe hopes to pursue employment opportunities in Pharmaceutical or Medical Sales, and eventually earn his Masters of Business Administration (MBA).

Steve Henke '12, Peer Advisor, is a sophomore at Wabash with an optimistic, albeit clueless, outlook on his future. Steve grew up in Avon, Indiana immersed in a liberal arts atmosphere. His diverse academic interests are manifested in various school organizations, including the Bachelor, CRU, the Phoenix and SMUG. He serves as a class representative in the Student Senate, vice president of service for Alpha Phi Omega and treasurer for the new case study club. In his limited spare time, he enjoys listening to music, talking with strangers and critiquing films. His illustrious position at the Career Services involves reviewing resumes and cover letters as well as producing video propaganda for the Schroeder Center for Career Development.

Colin Ridenour '10, Peer Advisor, is from Syracuse, Indiana, and is currently a senior at Wabash College. He is pursuing a major in chemistry and finishing his minor in religion. On campus, he is a member of Delta Tau Delta fraternity, Sphinx Club, Sons of Wabash and the President of the cooking club. In his free time, he enjoys water skiing, cooking, snowboarding and spending time with friends. As a member of career services, he focuses on the needs of the pre-health students. After Wabash, Colin plans on attending medical school in pursuit of becoming a surgeon.

Reginald Nadjae Steele '12, Jr., Peer Advisor, is a southern gentleman who is a current sophomore at Wabash College. Reggie was raised in Moss Point, Mississippi, however decided to follow the footsteps of his older brother Nikeland Cooper to (Wabash College, 2006). Reggie is a pre-health student, majoring in music and minoring in chemistry. His areas of concentration are Gender Studies and Multi-Cultural American Studies. At Wabash, Reggie is the KQ&K Mentoring and Tutoring Chairmen at the Malcolm X Institute of Black Studies. Also, he is a member of the Wabash College Track & Field Team. He believes in character and leadership, and it is his motivation to achievement. He is a very optimistic young man that has passions for cooking, performing dances and songs, project development, and adding diversity to the Wabash College Campus. He plans to become an obstetrician and a Food Network Star.

Adam D. Miller '12, Peer Advisor, is from New Paris, IN, and is currently a sophomore at Wabash College. Adam is a new member of the Career Services staff, but he hopes to bring exciting new ideas to the office. On campus, he is a member of the Varsity Football Team, Will Hays College Republicans, AMPED, and Wabash Christian Men. He also holds on campus jobs as a lifeguard and answers telephones for the student switchboard. In his spare time, Adam enjoys playing racquetball, lifting weights, swimming, riding bikes, and attending Cubs and Colts games. This summer Adam will be interning with the Career Services, hoping to develop new ways to promote the services available to the students of Wabash.

Josh Raspopovich ’11, Peer Advisor, is from Merrillville, IN, and is currently a junior pursuing a major in Rhetoric, minor in Economics, and the Business Sequence area of concentration. A member of Sigma Chi fraternity, Josh is the Social Chairman for his house while playing a variety of IM sports. In addition to working for Career Services, Josh is a speech tutor for the Rhetoric department, the Business Ethics leader for SIFE, and a member of the Case Study Club. In his free time Josh enjoys playing basketball, football, golfing, among other activities. After college, Josh hopes to pursue employment opportunities in Finance or Marketing, and eventually earn his Masters of Business Administration.

Robert Fozkos ’10, Peer Advisor, is from Chesterton, Indiana, and is currently a senior at Wabash College. Robert is pursuing a degree in Psychology and minors in Economics and Religion. On campus he is the Captain of the Wabash Swimming and Diving Team, a member of the Delta Tau Delta Fraternity, psychology club, and cooking club. When he has free time Robert enjoys cycling, water sports, eating Taco Bell, and spending time with family and friends. This past summer, he spent in Denver, CO as the logistic sales and marketing intern for Freight All Kinds, Inc. Seth Flater ’10, Peer Advisor, was born and raised in Pittsboro, IN. He is a senior Math major, with double minors in Political Science and Economics. He also is completing the Business Sequence area of concentration here at Wabash. The last two summers he has been involved in two insurance related internships. Two summers ago he worked as the Group Underwriting Intern for OneAmerica in Indianapolis, and this past summer he worked in Chicago as the summer intern for Accretive Insurance Group. After graduating from Wabash he plans to become an Actuary. On campus, Seth is a member of the Varsity Wrestling Team, where he plans on earning his fourth letter this year. His interests include fantasy sports, baseball statistics, and Green Bay Packers football. This year in Career Services his responsibilities include helping with Internships as well as Employer Development.
