Job Search/Career Choice Speakers and Workshops

We sponsor a series of events year-round that include organization representatives as presenters. We like to utilize employers as participants, because you present a “real-life” perspective. For employers, this is an excellent means of increasing campus exposure and “pre-identifying” quality candidates. Topics may include resume preparation, interviewing skills, your industry, job search strategies, etc. A networking reception is held following each event. Company/Organization/Graduate School Visitations

We like to get our students off-campus to explore the 'real world'. Our visits could include a tour of your facility, a presentation on your organization, a networking reception, etc.  For graduate school visits, classroom visits are especially welcomed.  We can schedule these visits for a full or half day, any day of the week.  This is an excellent means of showcasing your organization to a group of highly motivated students.  Contact Scott Crawford at crawfors@wabash.edu for further information on hosting a visit.

Mock Interview Program

Throughout the academic year we sponsor a Mock Interview Program to prepare students for their job, internship or graduate school interviews. Employers or graduate school reps conduct the actual interviews and critique the student’s performance.  You choose the block of time you would like and participating students sign up in advance. Student Group Presentations

Student academic and professional groups are continuously seeking speakers for their meetings and events. Sponsorship Opportunities

Employers and graduate schools are welcome to partner with us to monetarily sponsor any of our events, fairs, speaker series, etc. Partners will receive branded mention in the supporting materials for the event, on all advertising and marketing materials, and on our website. We can also explore appropriate academic and student group partnerships for the sponsor. This is a great way to increase your campus presence with our students, alumni, faculty and staff.
