The MCAT, DAT, OAT, and GRE:

Health Professional Schools require that you take a standardized entrance exam to be considered for admission.  Allopathic and Osteopathic medical schools require the MCAT (along with a few vet schools), dental schools the DAT, optometry schools the OAT, and graduate schools the GRE (including most vet schools and some pharmacy schools).  Students generally test during their junior year, when they have completed the foundational courses for the exam and have adequately studied.  The Wabash Pre-Health Advisor will meet with all pre-health juniors to discuss the timeline of the testing as well as preparation tips.
