This is a story about the Wabash tradition of building and sustaining lifelong relationships—friendships based on trust and honesty that endure over time. more >>> 37th OLAB Ends With A Bang The 37th edition of the Opportunities to Learn About Business program came to an end Saturday afternoon when 48 rising high school seniors were recognized at the program’s commencement ceremony. more >>> Lawyers Give OLAB Reality Dose Lawyers with a Wabash education provided a dose of realism for the nearly 50 High school students on campus learning about business. more >>> Wabash Welcomes 48 OLAB Students Forty-eight high school seniors from all across the country — and around the world — descended on the Wabash College campus Sunday, marking the 37th consecutive year of the Opportunities to Learn About Business Program. more >>> Summer Immersion Builds Business Experience The Summer Business Immersion Program has wrapped up another year giving Wabash men a practical application of their liberal arts education and how it will help them succeed in the business world. more >>> 2009 Division III Student Honors, Awards, and Prizes Division III (The Social Sciences) has announced the following awards given at a recent Student Honors, Awards, and Prizes Chapel held at the College. more >>> Calomiris Analyzes Mortgage Crisis Rogge lecturer Charles Calomiris analyized the subprime mortgage crisis by looking "at what's old and what's new (in the crisis) and a look from a perspective of both of the origins of the crisis, its causes, and also the way it has proceeded. more >>> Students Immersed in Economics on Sugar Creek Students in Wabash Economics Professor Christie Byun's Environmental Economics class got an up-close look at their subject last week as they paddled down Sugar Creek and toured several sites along the way. more >>> World Finance Expert Charles Calomiris to Give Rogge Lecture One of America’s leading authorities on world finances, Charles Calomiris, will present the 2009 Benjamin A. Rogge Memorial Lecture at Wabash College. Calomiris’ lecture, “The Subprime Turmoil: What’s Old, What’s New, and What’s Next,” will be presented at 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, in Baxter Hall, room 101. more >>> What's Happening at Wabash College in April more >>> Immersion in the European Union — Belgium/Germany With their immersion trip over, several students reflected on learning about the European Union first hand. more >>> Students Study, Work During Break While some college students prepare for spring break in Daytona, Cancun, or maybe South Padre Island, Wabash students will visit Spain, France, Italy, and Belgium. Wabash men will sing in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia and do mission work in New Orleans and Africa. more >>> National Security Expert Loch Johnson to Lecture (Postponed until March 24) -- Wabash College will host Phi Beta Kappa Visiting Scholar, Loch K. Johnson. more >>> Cowen: Economy Victim of Success Dr. Tyler Cowen is not what one would normally consider a pessimist.
