Summers in Science

There are many opportunities for Wabash chemistry majors to study off-campus. Nationally, the GLCA Oak Ridge Science Semester program in Tennessee is primarily a research experience for well-qualified upper level students in chemistry, biology, physics, mathematics and computer science. Chemistry students have also studied overseas on both one and two semester programs; the program at the University of Aberdeen (Scotland) is a particular favorite of Wabash chemistry majors who seek an English-speaking program. The prospective off-campus study student must check with the department chairman to ensure that he meets Wabash requirements with his host university's course offerings.
