Microsoft Office / Word 2007 Training

New Horizons will offer four-hour training sessions on Microsoft Office / Word 2007, in the Goodrich 101 computer room. The training sessions will focus on Microsoft Word 2007, but the discussions of the new Office 2007 interface will be applicable to Excel and PowerPoint as well. If you are a Mac user, please note that Office 2007 (Windows) and 2008 (Mac OS) are considerably different. We will offer instruction on Office 2008 as part of our Summer Tech School program -- watch your email for details. Feel free to sign up for this workshop, but you may not find it particularly applicable to your work unless you also regularly use Office 2007.

IT Services covers the cost for these workshops, which is $60/person. So that we may get the maximum return on this investment, please do not sign up for a workshop if you cannot commit to attending the entire 4-hour workshop. Additional training sessions will be offered throughout the summer as part of our Summer Tech School program.

If you sign up for a workshop and later realize you will be unable to attend, please contact the Help Desk so that we may make your slot available to someone else.
