Topics include Japanese anime, Korean pop music, Chinese science fiction, Hong Kong martial arts cinema, etc. Special attention will be paid to new media forms and transnational networks of cultural exchange. All readings in English. Film screenings W 2:10-4:00. This course also counts as an elective for the minor in Film and Digital Media. |
