de Assis-Wilson was one of 16 professors to participate in this year's edition of the Ides of August, a celebration of creative and scholarly efforts.

'Under What Conditions Does a Dye Become Flourescent?' was presented by Assistant professor of Chemistry Laura Wysocki.

Ann Taylor, Associate Professor in Biochemistry, presneted 'Standing on the Shoulders: Integrating Pre-Requisite Course Concepts into Teaching Biochemistry.'

Associate Professor of Physics James Brown delivered 'Exploring the Edge of Nuclear Ocean with Students.'

Peter Hulen, Associate Professor of Music, presented 'Another Drop of Asian Infusion: Accessing Early Japanese Electronic Music for Instructional Use at Wabash College.'

Hulen's presentation included both snippets and scores.
