Day Three began with a thought-provoking discussion led by Professor Bill Cook and inspired by his earlier talk on Franciscan art—conversations that proved, once again, as Cook said, "the power of art to teach and inspire."
Then we were off to the Damietta Peace Initiative, whose work we will see in action on Friday during a grassroots meeting between Christians and Muslims in the infamous Kibera Slum of Nairobi. A surprise visit to a rural school completed the day. Some photos from Day Three follow:
