Wabash Preview Day, 6/26/2015

Wabash College continues to develop programming and infrastructure to support its students. Through a grant from the Indiana Commission for Higher Education, the College offered a Preview Day for Indiana grant recipients to ease the transition into collge. Senior Associate Dean of the College Todd McDorman welcomed students and parents by saying, 'This is the first step in a successful four years at Wabash. This is a very student-centered place that provides opportunities to build close relationships.'

Dean of Students Mike Raters '85 was able to speak to all facets of the Wabash experience: student, administrator, and parent.

Raters said, 'Here we focus on the young man and his experience. The baton of educational responsibility begins to be passed today. I'm excited for each of you. This is a great and special place.'

Said Horton, 'No matter what you choose to do at Wabash, these seminars -- Freshman Tutorial and Enduring Questions -- give you a firm foundation that promotes intellectual skills. These are transferrable skills among the disciplines.'
