Kyle Cassidy, a cum laude graduate, was involved in a number of
student organizations and was editor of The Horizon journal.
Lincoln Smith, who spent summers involved in cancer research, graduated magna
cum laude.
Patrick Smith, a summa cum laude graduate who earned distinction
on his Classics comprehensive exams, served as Editor-in-Chief of The
Bachelor.
Ryan Grand, son of Wabash Trustee Bob Grand ’78, graduated magna
cum laude.
Thomas Elliott made Wabash men laugh as editor of The Caveman, a
humor magazine. He also had a serious academic side and graduated with summa
cum laude honors.
Wasim Labaki, who is bound for medical school, graduated with magna
cum laude honors.

Feng Mai, who came to Wabash from China, overcame much on the way to
earning his Wabash degree. His best friend at Wabash, Han Jiang, died in
an automobile accident when Mai was a freshman.
Steve Miller accepts his diploma, cum laude. His twin brother,
Jon, also graduated with magna cum laude honors. Their father,
Fred, is a 1976 Wabash graduate.
Chris Serek, a magna cum laude graduate, founded the Wabash
chapter of College Mentors for Kids.
