Russellville, Ark. 2012

 

On Friday, Sept. 14th 9 students, Dr. McArthur and myself went to Dwight Elementary and the students provided half an hour lesson plans on the Constitution for kindergarten through 4th grade students (a little over 200 students in total...).  Here is the ATU article.

On Monday, Sept. 17th I organized a public reading of the Constitution at ATU that included 26 students, faculty, staff and community dignitaries (including the Lt. Gov. Mark Darr of Arkansas and Russellville Mayor Bill Eaton).  Below is the ATU article.

I took 7 students to the Russellville Junior High on Monday, Sept. 17th to work with about 400 9th graders.  The students provided 50 minute lesson plans on the Constitution that included a game of matching phrases to where they are found in the Constitution and amendments, as well as Constitution Jeopardy.  I have attached pictures of this activity…
