2011 Wabash Day - Evansville

While perhaps less physically demanding than previous events, WABASH DAY 2011 was certainly no less rewarding for the Evansville Association of Wabash Men. On a beautiful, clear, brisk fall morning, six local Wallies greeted the dawn and 500 kids at the District Cub Scout Field Days for the Boy Scouts of America Buffalo Trace Council.

The kids, their pack leaders, and families were out to enjoy a day of physical activity and spirit-building at the 17-acre Eykamp Center on Evansville’s East side. The Wabash men assisted at the event as parking attendants, activity monitors and even pit crew for the Cub Carts downhill run. Helping the kids have such fun and listening to all the cheers, shrieks of joy and laughter made for a great day.
