Transition Goal Ends in 1-0 Wabash Loss

The Little Giants outshot the 14th-ranked DePauw University Wednesday night, but a quick transition by the Tigers led to a 1-0 victory over Wabash at Boswell Field in Greencastle, Indiana Wednesday evening.

DePauw’s Ryan Keefe took a cross from Dean Weaver after Wabash lost possession just past midfield. A quick strike downfield set up the Weaver cross for the game-winner in the 48th minute.

Head Coach Roberto Giannini comments on the Little Giants' loss.

Wabash tallied 11 shots in the contest compared to six for DePauw. Eight of the Little Giants’ attempts were on net, led by Allan Swan’s three shots on goal. Diego Aliaga added two shots on goal.
The Little Giants are 4-2 overall and will travel to the University of Chicago for a Saturday afternoon match.
