Graham Hits Cover of NCAA Magazine

by Brent Harris   •   July 30, 2008 Print version Share:

Wabash junior Brock Graham's story of spending spring break in Botswana with 20 teammates has been told in the latest Wabash Magazine and on the web site. Now the story is garnering national attention as the cover feature for Champion, the quarterly publication from the NCAA.

Gary Brown, editor for Champion, sent an email to schools requesting story ideas for the summer edition of the NCAA's new magazine. When he heard about Graham's group raising their own money to spend a week in Botswana to work with OneWay Ministries, Brown set up an interview and a photo shoot. The resulting piece arrived in mailboxes of presidents, chancellors, athletics administrators, and coaches of every NCAA member school on July 29.

View the online version of the magazine at ncaachampionmagazine.org, including a photo gallery of shots from the group's trip to Botswana and images from the on-campus photo shoot by the NCAA.
