A Midsummers Night's Dream to be Performed Tonight

Wabash College’s Visiting Artists Series will present the London Stage performing William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream at 8 p.m., tonight in Ball Theater in the Fine Arts Center.

Actors from The London Stage will present an actor-centered performance of William Shakespeare’s immortal comedy, A Midsummer Night’s Dream. The London Stage is a unique program based at the University of Notre Dame that combines the superb talents of professional actors with theater students to bring to life Shakespeare’s plays.

In the accompanying photo, actor Guy Burgess worked Wednesday with students from Michael Abbott and Dwight Watson's acting classes. Burgess trained in the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. This is his third international tour with Actors from the London Stage.

The acting troupe will present a special 11 a.m. Friday matinee for 400 freshmen and sophomores from Crawfordsville High School.

Seating for Visiting Artists Series events is by general admission, though free tickets are required for Visiting Artists Series programs
