Preservation Hall Jazz Band to Perform at Wabashby Karen Handley • September 24, 2004 Share:
The spirit of the French Quarter is captured in the New Orleans jazz performed by this legendary improvisatory group. Unobscured by complicated arrangements, the greatness of their sound emerges from its timeless simplicity—its impact on an audience is joyous and infectious. The band has appeared at many famous venues, including Carnegie Hall (NYC), Symphony Hall (Boston), Monterey Jazz Festival (CA) and the Red Sea Jazz Festival (Israel.)
