Evansville Golf Outing 2004by Michael Warren • August 6, 2004 Share:
The golfers in this year's Evansville Association of Wabash Men golf outing enjoyed relief from the normal early August weather on Thursday, August 5 as unseasonable temperatures blew into southern Indiana.
Seven groups teed off in the seventh annual Wally Wabash Golf Scramble at Clearcrest Pines Golf Course. Alumni, parents, current students, staff, and others participated in this year's outing. Congratulations to the fathers/sons combination of Mike and Matt '03 Piechocki and Scott and Charlie '03 Shrode who won the outing this year. Closest to the pin and longest drive awards were won by Tom Wilhelmus '66 and Paul Ferguson '77 respectively.
Special thanks to Kyle Rapp '95 for taking over the organizational duties from Tom Topper '70 this year and to the staff at Clearcrest Pines for the support during golf and for the fine dinner following.
If you did not particpate this year, we hope you can make it out next August.
