Sending an admiral to recruit college students isn’t typical U.S. Navy protocol, but when Rear Admiral Alex Miller ’71 heard that recruitment officers under his command were traveling to Indiana last year, he asked the obvious question: "Are you going to Wabash?"
When the men responded with puzzled looks, the admiral assured them that the Navy would indeed be going to Wabash. And Miller would represent them!
A guest of the College’s Office of Career Services, the admiral spoke to students about national security issues last year and returned this year for the College’s Career and Internship Fair.
