The Financial Aid Office provides assistance to families by guiding them through the financial aid process. This includes:

  • assistance with the applicationprocess
     
  • explanation of the financial aid componentsand financing options available to you
     
  • explaining policies governing merit-based scholarships and financial assistance

Business Office

The Business Office is the financial heart of the College. The Business Office accepts payments; issues refund checks; processes student payroll; Student Senate payments and reimbursements; cashes checks up to $50; and sells stamps.

  1. Students are required toconfirm registration for the following semester by July 30 for the fall semester and December 30 for the spring semester. Registration is considered confirmed when a studentis in good standing with the Business Office, meaning he has a paid tuition invoice or satisfactory payment arrangements in place, including having all financial aid in place. Students who fail to confirm registration by these dates will be de-registered from all classes for the following semester.
     
  2. Once a student who has been deregistered confirms his registration, he will be assessed a $125 re-registration fee and allowed to register for classes again. Please note that a student who is de-registered from any course with an active waitlist may be unable to regain his seat in that course even after registration is confirmed, if that seat has been claimed by a waitlisted student.

 

In accordance with FERPA regulations, all financial communication is conducted with the studentor custodial parent unless the student grants permission otherwise (in person, in the Business Office).

Money, Banking, and ATM

The College Business Office will cash checks up to $50. Larger checks may be cashed at local banks for a fee unless you have an account at that bank. (Chase Bank will cash checks for students with Wabash identification.) Students wishing to open bank accounts have several choices in Crawfordsville. There is an ATM located on the lower level of Sparks Center.
