Professor of History Peter Frederick will continue teaching after he retires from the Wabash classroom this spring. Frederick has been consulting with and visiting Heritage College on the Yakama Nation reservation in Washington state since 1996, and next year he will become the first holder of a one-year Visiting Distinguished Professorship, the Wilbur H. "Ted" Robertson Chair of American Studies. He’ll also help create a new Center for Multicultural Teaching and Learning and design and teach a two-semester multicultural American history survey sequence and work with adjunct professors on how to teach it. We hope to hear more from Professor Frederick as his year in Washington progresses. Read more about Heritage College at: www.heritage.edu
