Wabash College, a top-tier national liberal arts college for men, seeks an experienced professional to join the Enrollment Office team.
The Associate Director will contribute to the overall recruitment efforts of the College, with specific responsibility for a territory centered in Chicago and Northern Illinois. In addition to student recruitment, this position includes the development of partnerships with high school counselors, independent college counselors, community-based organizations, access programs, community colleges, and Wabash alumni and friends of the College.
Wabash is seeking candidates with successful experience implementing recruitment strategies and achieving enrollment goals. Preferred candidates will have experience in data-driven recruiting, prospect management, territory management, and new market development. Candidates should also have experience with telemarketing, electronic communications, and prospect interviewing. Candidates must be able to articulate the benefits of a liberal arts education for men within the context of the Wabash institutional mission. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
Three-to-five years working in college admissions is preferred. Experience in related areas such as fundraising, coaching, school counseling or marketing will also be considered. A bachelor’s degree and valid driver’s license are required.
