A Conversation with Richard Thomas: Fine Arts Center Ball Theater, 1:30PM
Award-winning film, television, and stage actor, Richard Thomas will visit campus on Friday, April 12th. He will meet with Wabash theater students for a Q&A in Ball Theater from 1:30-2:30 PM. The Wabash community is invited to join in this conversation. A public reception will follow in the Ball Theater Lobby.
Best known for his portrayal of John Boy Walton in the critically acclaimed CBS drama The Waltons, Mr. Thomas’ acting career spans more than 50 years. Beginning with his Broadway appearance as a child actor in the Tony Award-winning production of Sunrise at Campobello, Mr. Thomas has appeared on Broadway and in West End productions of Art, Fifth of July, Democracy, Race, Whose Life Is It Anyway, An Enemy of the People, and more. In major regional theaters, he has played a variety of classical roles including Hamlet, Richard III and Peer Gynt (Hartford Stage), Richard II (The Shakespeare Theatre), Puck in A Midsummer Night's Dream and Angelo in Measure for Measure (The Ahmanson), The Count of Monte Cristo (Kennedy Center), and Danton's Death (The Alley).

Swing Dancing! Who: WCM/AMPED and the University of Indianapolis When: Friday, April 12th Time: Leave campus by 6:00pm to meet up with UIndy students at 7:00pm. Place: Fountain Square, Indianapolis Cost: $10.00 for dancing, $2.00 for lessons The price for dancing is $10 (that includes a live jazz band) and lesson are $2. We will need to leave by 6:00pm so we can meet up with the UIndy students by 7:00pm. Then we will head out to Fountain Square and be there at 7:30pm, in time for lessons for those that want/need them. The place closes at 11:30pm, but we can leave anytime before that.
