Guidelines regarding return to campus have already been provided to faculty and staff. Students wishing to return to campus must contact the Dean of Students' Office to make arrangements to visit.

"Ere Egypt and Rome Were Born: Native American Writers and Greco-Roman Antiquity"

 

Craig Williams is the author of several books, including Roman Homosexuality (rev. 2010) and Reading Roman Friendship (2012), as well as numerous articles and reviews on Latin literature and Roman culture and their reception. In his current book project, Williams explores how Native North American writers have used their knowledge of the languages, literatures, and cultures of ancient Greece and Rome in a wide range of texts from the 17th century until today. In support of this project he has been awarded fellowships from the U of Illinois Center for Advanced Study (2017-2018) and the National Endowment for the Humanities (2018-2019).
