Admitted Student Weekend: Chapel Chapel
Admitted Student Weekend is 'the weekend' to visit Wabash College. This weekend is intended for seniors and will offer a variety of experiences and activities that will allow you to further explore academic and extracurricular programming, Greek life, network with alumni, and meet your future classmates and friends. The program will begin Friday, March 23 at 1:00 p.m. ET and conclude Saturday, March 24 at 2:15 p.m. ET. Students flying to campus should plan to arrive at Indianapolis International Airport no later than 11:00 a.m. ET Friday, March 23 and depart after 7:00 p.m. ET Saturday, March 24. Wabash College will provide transportation to and from Indianapolis but you need to contact Nik Jones (jonesn@wabash.edu) to make arrangements.

GLCA Award Winning Poet Nate Marshall: Fine Arts Center Salter Hall, 7:30PM
Award winning Poet, Teacher and Performer; Chicago Native Nate Marshall will grace the stage at Salter Hall.
Nate is an experienced teaching artist. He has worked with Young Chicago Authors, SouthernWord (Nashville, TN), The Neutral Zone (Ann Arbor, MI), and InsideOut Detroit. He co-wrote Chicago Public School's first literary arts curriculum and has developed a number of lesson plans using creative writing to help participants discuss social justice, mental health, and community development.
Nate has taught writing, literature, and history at the college level as a professor and instructor at Northwestern University, Wabash College, and The University of Michigan. He has taught English Composition, Intro to Creative Writing, Reading & Writing Poetry, Intermediate Poetry Workshop, Introduction to Poetry, Introduction to Short Fiction, Enduring Questions (Freshmen Seminar), Multicultural Women Poets, and The History & Politics of Hip-Hop.
Nate's book Wild Hudreds is the winner of the 2014 Agnes Lynch Starrett Poetry Prize and he is the recipient of the 2017 GLCA New Writers Award in Poetry.
