James Owolabi speaking at Cru...: Baxter Hall 101, 9:00PM - 10:00PM
The men of WCM and AMPED are excited to have James Owolabi speaking at Cru this evening. James was born and raised in Nigeria and has lived in the United States all his adult life. He currently manages a frozen yogurt store in Indianapolis, serves as an itinerant evangelist with Get Up! Speak Up!! Evangelistic Ministries!!!, and preaches every Sunday at an English Speaking Presbyterian Korean Church in Indianapolis where He serves as the Pastor of the English Ministry. He loves Jesus Christ passionately, enjoys mentoring young leaders at Starbucks, reads books on practical theology, personal development and organizational management. He loves Asian food and is allergic to reality TV shows, church politics and smooth talking politicians. James' theme tonight will be “the LOVE OF GOD”, and he will be speaking from John 8:1-13 on the topic of “The Messy Messiah” - or how we can experience the love of God by giving Christ Jesus the password to our past mistakes. Please join us for this opportunity to meet James, as well as time of worship, prayer, and fellowship. We'll have updates on the upcoming events planned for the rest of this semester. Wabash Christian Men is a uniting of Cru (Campus Crusade for Christ) and AMPED (Athletes Making Plays Every Day / Athletes in Action) for the furtherance of the gospel message at Wabash.
