ENG 213 Creative Writing: Short Fiction
Students will write about 12,000 words of short fiction, which will be
read and discussed in workshop sessions. The course pre-supposes a serious
interest in creative writing. It requires strict self discipline, devotion
to craftsmanship, and active critical analysis. Supplementary readings in
short fiction, past and contemporary, are assigned. This course is offered
in the fall semester.
