HIS 201 The World from 1945-present
The focus of this course will be global in perspective, seeking to show
how World War II shaped the development of various continents and nations.
Topics will include: anti-imperialism and the emergence of Third World
nations, the evolution of super-powers, world-wide economic and
technological change, and the continuing threat of nuclear war.
