ECO 321 International Trade
Examines the theory of international trade and its applications. Students
will learn why nations exchange, what determines the patterns of
production and trade across countries, and what the welfare implications
of trade are for the world at large and for the domestic economy. Special
topics include GATT, multinationals, protectionism, and Third-world debt.
Offered in the fall semester. (Not offered Fall 2005).
Prerequisite: Economics 291 and Economics 251, or consent of the
instructor.
