You will need to provide several bits of information when setting up your program. Most programs have a "wizard" installation that will step you through the process of making the connection. For Wabash, here are the relevant settings:

POP/IMAP (incoming mail) server: mail.wabash.edu
SMTP (outgoing) server: smtp.wabash.edu
Outgoing port: 587

Exchange: (For most incoming and outgoing server settings, you may use: owa.wabash.edu )

Outlook 2007/2010

• Microsoft Exchangeserver: exstore.wabash.main
• More settings > Connection tab (Check Connect to Microsoft Exchange using HTTP)
• Exchange Proxy Settings > Use this URL to connect to my proxy server for Exchange: https://outlook.wabash.edu (Check the SSL box)

Following the email upgrade on June 28, Entourage users will need to download and install an Entourage update:  http://www.microsoft.com/mac/itpros/entourage-ews.mspx
Click the link "Download Entourage 2008, Web Services Edition "  *

*Note: During the installation process, your Entourage 2008 identity imported or upgraded automatically. You must import form the existing identity.  The first time you launch the new version of Entourage, you will have the option to import your existing Entourage 2008 identity.
