"The student is expected to conduct himself at all times, both on and off the campus, as a gentleman and a responsible citizen."
This is the only rule governing the conduct of students at Wabash College.
This link defines the operation of the Gentleman’s Rule with respect to issues of academic honesty. Such issues fall into two main areas: cheating on exams, homework, and laboratory work; and plagiarism in paper writing.
Academic dishonesty is a serious offense that can result in expulsion from the College.
Academic dishonesty also defeats the purpose of a student’s education—the improvement of his own powers of thinking and communication.
