Mark Colston, MS, ATC, LAT, Head Athletic Trainer 
B.S., in Physical Education option in Athletic Training, Eastern Illinois University 2001
M.S., in Sports Administration, Eastern Illinois University 2002
NATABOC, Certified Athletic Trainer, 2002
Indiana Athletic Training State Licensure 2002

Since arriving in Crawfordsville in the fall of 2003, Mark’s primary sports assignments have included soccer, basketball, and baseball.  In addition, Mark plans on offering courses for the students to take part in and develop there own athletic training skills, as well as performing other duties around campus.  A graduate of Eastern Illinois University with a bachelor’s in Physical education with an option in Athletic Training, and a Master from the same university in Sports Administration.  Mark is a nationally certified and state licensed athletic trainer.

Mark currently resides in Crawfordsville, with his wife, Keri, and two children, Joseph (5) and Kali (3). 

Mark Elizondo, MS, ATC, LAT, CSCS, Assistant Athletic Trainer 
Mark is a full time assistant athletic trainer. Before joining the Wabash Athletics Department, he served a high school in South Bend, Indiana. He obtained a masters degree from Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Indiana. His Bachelors degree was completed at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah. He has experience with international weightlifting and worked the McDonalds All-American game March of 2005. Mark is nationally certified and state licensed. He also obtains the strength and conditioning specialist certification.  

 
 
 
Health Center Staff

John Roberts, M.D.
Dr. Roberts is a 1983 graduate of Wabash College and a 1987 graduate of Indiana University School of Medicine.  He completed his  family practice residency at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis in 1990.  He has shared the college position with Dr. Douglas since 1999. 

Scott Douglas, M.D.
Dr. Douglas is a 1984 graduate of Wabash College and a 1988 graduate of Indiana University School of Medicine.  He completed his family practice residency at Methodist Hospital in 1991.  He served 3 years in the US Air Force, Dyess AFB, Abilene, Texas.  He was chief of Family Medicine at Dyess and both Flight Surgeon for the 9th Bomb Squadron.

Dr. Douglas and Dr. Roberts have an active family practice in Crawfordsville.  

Carol Lamb, RN
Carol is in her third year as the school nurse at Wabash.  She received her nursing diploma in 1977 from St. Elizabeth School of Nursing in Lafayette, Indiana. Lamb worked for five years at Culver Union Hospital, now St. Clare Medical Center, as a med-surg charge nurse in the recovery room and oncology. She spent the past 20 years working at Greenacres Family Practice. Carol’s duties include managing the Health Center, assisting the doctors and processing the student insurance claims.
