Jason Hutchison enters his third season as the head coach of the Wabash College tennis program. He also serves as the Allen Athletics and Recreation Center facilities manager.
The Crawfordsville native graduated from Western Illinois University in 2003, serving as the team captain for the tennis squad at WIU during the 1998-99 season. He played four seasons of tennis at Crawfordsville High School, leading the Athenians to three sectional titles while earning All-State Honorable Mention honors as a senior.
Hutchison is a member of the United States Professional Tennis Association and the United States Tennis Association. He was ranked number one in the Southeast Region in singles play and number two in doubles play by the USTA. Prior to coming to Wabash, he served as a professional tennis instructor at the Pine Log Park Tennis Center in Conyers, Georgia, where he developed a junior tennis program in addition to coaching numerous adult teams. Several of his teams reached the city championships and advanced in the playoffs.
Hutchison and his wife, Sarah, reside in Crawfordsville with their son, Jude.
