Wabash Finishes Third at NCAC Track Championships
Overcoming injuries was a common theme in the final day of competition for the Wabash team at the 2007 North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Track and Field Championships. The Little Giants battled to a third place finish in the conference finals behind seven All-NCAC performances.

Wabash-DePauw Ink Three-Year TV Deal
The Monon Bell Classic, one of America’s oldest and richest college football rivalries, will be nationally telecast on HDNet for the next three years. The three-year contract calls for HDNet, which has televised the 2003 and 2006 games, to broadcast the November 10, 2007 contest from Blackstock Stadium in Greencastle, as well as the 2008 and 2009 battles for the Bell.

Junior Nelson Barre took fourth place over the weekend at the 2007 North Coast Athletic Conference Multi-event Championships decathlon.

Storybook Endings Give Wabash Two Baseball Wins
All that was missing from Wabash's two victories Saturday over Earlham was a Hollywood music score. The Little Giants held on to defeat Earlham 8-6 in game one before rallying to tie game two in the bottom of the seventh before taking a 6-4 victory in eight innings.

Tennis Team Takes Fifth at NCAC Championships
Wabash posted its best tennis tournament finish since joining the North Coast Athletic Conference, handing Oberlin a 5-3 defeat on Saturday morning to take fifth place at the 2007 conference event.

Little Giants Advance Over OWU at NCAC Tennis Tourney
Less than one week after dropping a match to Ohio Wesleyan University, the Wabash tennis team avenged that loss with a 5-1 victory over the Battling Bishops in the second round of the North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Tournament. The Little Giants lost their opening round match by a score of 5-0 to second-seeded Denison.

NCAA Grant to Boost Campus Peer Counseling Group
Two students’ dreams are now realized by an NCAA Choices Alcohol Education grant. The grant was awarded Wabash College and — coupled with matching campus funds — will be used for peer education about alcohol use.
