The Wabash College football team will host a first-round NCAA Division III playoff game for the third time since 2002 when the Little Giants host the College of Mount St. Joseph on Saturday, November 17. Kickoff is set for 12:00 noon.

DePauw Reclaims Bell on 47-yard Kick
DePauw sophomore place-kicker Jordan Havercamp hit his first-ever field goal Saturday and may never hit a bigger one. Havercamp's 47-yard kick returned the Monon Bell to DePauw and handed Wabash its first season loss. The Little Giants (9-1) prepare for the NCAA Division III playoffs November 17. They'll learn their opponent Sunday.

Monon Bell Game Draws National Network’s Attention
The annual Wabash and DePauw football rivalry will receive national recognition Saturday. The ESPN College Football Gameday crew of Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit and Lee Corso have decided to devote this weekend to featuring some of the under-the-radar rivalries. The crew will be live at Williamstown, Mass., Saturday for the Amherst College/Williams College rivalry.

Linemen Take Gilbert's Message To Heart
Wabash College offensive line coach Jake Gilbert made sure players understood his message. Before practice this week, he put up the stats from last year's Monon Bell game - a game where the Little Giants averaged only a paltry half-yard per carry on rushes and gave up a season-high three quarterback sacks. After checking the stats out, senior offensive lineman Brian Hilts cringed. He's taking Gilbert's message to heart - they have to block as a unit.

Wrestlers Open Season Against Division I Indiana
The Wabash wrestling team started the 2007-08 season against perhaps the toughest opponent it will face all season. The Little Giants battled the nationally-ranked NCAA Division I Indiana University squad at Chadwick Court Friday night. The Hoosiers handed Wabash a 44-0 defeat.
