Early Bench Scoring Falls Short in Loss at Wooster
Wabash got 15 points from reserves Brian Maloney and Andrew Gilman in the first half against the 15th-ranked College of Wooster Saturday afternoon, but it was not enough to boost the Little Giants to the win. The Scots swept the two-game season series with an 83-71 victory at Wooster Saturday afternoon.

Netters Knock Off 19th-Ranked Transylvania
Wabash swept Transylvania University 9-0 Saturday evening in collegiate tennis after losing 8-1 to nationally-ranked Kenyon College in the morning matches. The Lords are 23rd nationally in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings, while Transylvania came into the weekend ranked 19th in the Central Region poll.

Two Little Giants Post NCAA Qualifying Marks
Freshman Rob Smallman improved his season-best effort in the pole vault, while sophomore Emmanuel Aouad hit the NCAA provisional qualifying mark in the 55-meter hurdles at Saturday's Wabash Open Indoor Track and Field Invitational.

Arnett, Tribbett Take Seconds at Midstates
Rob Arnett finished second in the 285-pound weight class and Jared Tribbett was second at 149 pounds at Saturday's Midstates Wrestling Conference Championship meet held at Rose-Hulman. The juniors helped Wabash finish fourth in the final team standings.

Tennis Opens 2008 Season with Sweep over Franklin
Wabash won all but 11 of the 107 total games of tennis played Thursday night at the Collett Tennis Center between the Little Giants and the Franklin College Grizzlies. The Little Giants took a 9-0 victory in their opening match of the 2008 season.
