Pelak and Waldon Combine for Tournament Win
Freshman Will Pelak and junior Ryan Waldon took an 8-5 victory in the championship match of third doubles Sunday afternoon in the 2008 Kerry Seward Memorial Tennis Tournament at Wabash College. Pelak added a second place finish at number one singles, while juniors Jay Horrey and Sean Clerget took second place at second doubles. Wabash finished fourth out of eight teams in the tourney.

Dodaro's Blast Gives Wabash Series Win over Case
Matt Dodaro's two-run home run in the bottom of the seventh inning powered Wabash to a 6-5 victory in the Little Giants' second game Sunday afternoon against Case Western Reserve University. Dodaro hit a solo shot in team's 8-6 win in game one for a 3-1 series win against the Spartans.

Seibel's Double Delivers Saturday Split
A one-out, game-winning double in extra innings by freshman Dave Seibel gave Wabash a 3-2 victory over Case Western Reserve University Saturday afternoon at Mud Hollow Field in non-conference baseball action. The Little Giants lost game two 3-1 to the visiting Spartans.

Tennis Team Ready for Kerry Seward Tournament
Seven teams will travel to Wabash College this weekend to participate in the annual Kerry Seward Memorial Tennis Tournament. Albion, Coe, Vincennes, Transylvania, Ohio Northern, Hanover, Carthage, and Wabash will all begin competition Saturday at 9 a.m. at the Collett Tennis Center on the Wabash campus.

Senior Shaun Rico blasted two more home runs to give the Wabash baseball team a 3-1 series win at Ohio Wesleyan to open the North Coast Athletic Conference portion of the season. The Little Giants won Sunday's opener 9-6 before falling in the final game 11-5.

A two-out, three-run homer by senior Shaun Rico in the top of the seventh inning lifted Wabash to a 3-2 win over defending North Coast Athletic Conference champion Ohio Wesleyan University Saturday afternoon. The Little Giants took Saturday's opening game 5-1 behind home runs from Matt Dodaro and Jake Thomas.
