Offensive Balance Earns Wabash Sixth Seed In Tourney
Five Wabash players scored in double figures Saturday afternoon, giving Wabash a 75-63 win at Denison and the sixth seed in next week’s North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament. The Little Giants will travel to third-seeded Hiram for the opening round game Tuesday evening.

Little Giants Celebrate Senior Night With Blowout Win
Senior players Mark Turpin and Brian Maloney, along with senior manager Joel Patterson, were honored prior to the start of Wednesday night's final home game for the Little Giant basketball team. That celebration kicked off a 19-4 start for Wabash on the way to a 68-43 win over Wittenberg at Chadwick Court.

Smith Receives Second Player of the Week Award
Wabash sophomore guard Wes Smith has been named the North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the second time this season. Smith earned the honor after averaging 25.5 points in two Wabash wins last week.

Wes Chamblee finished 8th in the 400-meter dash and Kevin McCarthy took 10th in the mile at Friday night's Hoosier Hills Invitational indoor track and field meet at Indiana University. Wabash posted five top-15 performances against a strong Division I field of athletes.

The 400-yard medley relay team of Eric Vaughn, Evan Rhinesmith, Adam Current, and Craig Vetor took third place Thursday night in the finals of the 2009 North Coast Athletic Conference Swimming and Diving Championships to help Wabash to fifth place after the first day of the three-day competition.

Records Fall at NCAC Championship Swim Meet
Junior Craig Vetor and senior Jordon Blackwell turned in record-setting performances at the 2009 North Coast Athletic Conference Swimming and Diving Championship Meet in Canton, Ohio. Vetor broke the Wabash record in the 200 freestyle in Friday's preliminary round, while Blackwell set a new mark in the 100 free during a Thursday night time trial.
